The competition has been won by Glasgow based architects Jude Barber and Phil Zoechbauer of Collective Architecture for their winning design “Common Houses”.

hahaha clearly this voting system is not legit. just look at it statistically, certain projects that i'm not saying are the worst (but they are) have got outstanding number of votes. if this many 'individuals' actually visited and voted for the entries then you would expect a little more variety and possibly even for the clearly better projects on the site to be a little ahead.............. i'm just putting it out there

Yeah, we knew the online voting system could be open to possible missuse.

While we have set it up so everyone should only be able to log one vote each, it doesn't stop designers from begging all their friends to vote for their design. We shall have to hope that people show a bit of class and vote honestly for which design they like best.

Ultimately though - its the expert judges that will be making the decision next week. The online poll is just to try and get a flavour of the public's thoughts.

In saying that though - we may have a tiny "People's Champion" prize for the winner of the online vote.
